The main focus of the Symposium is to discuss different models of existing of different types of contests related solely to printmaking and graphic arts organized in Europe and in different parts of the world. The Symposium will consist of three parts. First one will be dedicated to presentations of different points of views representing by the invited guests among which are organizers of Print Biennials, theoreticians associated with printmaking and graphic arts as well as artists themselves, as we would like to hear different opinions. Second part will be a solo presentation of the artist – Jill Parisi. And the third part will be a panel discussion with participation of invited guests whom we would like to comment the ideas posed in the First part of the Symposium as well as add their own thoughts to this general discussion.
